Kokan Education and Welfare Association (KEWA) is an association in Kokan region, a coastal area of Maharashtra, 170 km away from Mumbai, India.
Founded by Dr. Sufyan Abdul Aziz Qazi (PhD at the Islamic University of Madinah, Department of Creed) with aim for uplifting standards of Muslim Ummah by imparting his knowledge and experience.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the World, and blessings and peace be upon prophet Muhammad ( Sallal Lahu Alaihee Wa Sallam).
The Islamic legitimate knowledge is the most important and most useful science on the face of the earth, and it is the beneficial knowledge that is derived from the Qur’an and the Sunnah according to the way of the predecessors of this nation from the Companions and the followers and those who followed them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.
The Madrasa (Islamic Sharia school) is the incubator in which the student receives knowledge and education. Hence, we feel a great responsibility in raising generations, and instilling correct Islamic concepts. And building it on a correct basis on the curriculum that Allah- the Almighty – and His Messenger – may peace be upon him and his family – wanted.
We feel that the student in the Madrasa is an honesty to us, so all teachers have a responsibility to raise them in the right way.
We ask Allah to grant us beneficial knowledge and to act upon it, for He is the Hearing of supplications, and Allah knows best.

الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على أشرف الأنبياء والمرسلين . أما بعد
فإن العلم الشرعي هو أهم العلوم وأنفعها على وجه الأرض , وهو العلم النافع المستمد من الكتاب والسنة على طريقة سلف هذه الأمة من الصحابة والتابعين ومن تبعهم بإحسان إلى يوم الدين .
والمدرسة الإسلامية الشرعية هي المحضن الذي يتلقى الطالب فيه العلم والتربية، فهي مكان القدوة، والتزود بالأخلاق، والتجدد في التفكير. ومن هنا نستشعر بمسؤولية كبيرة في تربية الأجيال، وغرس المفاهيم الإسلامية الصحيحة. وبناءها بناءً صحيحاً على المنهج الذي أراده الله – عز وجل -، وأراده رسوله – صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم –ونستشعر أن الطالب في المدرسة أمانة , وعلى جميع المدرسين مسؤولية في تربيتهم على العقيدة السليمة على ما كان عليه النبي – صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم – وأصحابه الكرام – رضي الله عنهم.

To offer the students evidence-based academic tools of wisdom to produce better material to build up the confidence of self reliant by which they can meet the academic challenges and find happiness through achievements.
The entrance is restricted to the students of 9-12 age groups only who have successfully completed the nazira education. They are selected after an interview showcasing their intellectual brilliance, skill and memory capacity. . The call for application is made in the Arabic month of Sha’ban every year, while the entrance test is held in the first week of Shawwāl. The aspirant should fill the application form available in the official website or in the main office of Jamia Mohammadia Kokan office on or after Ramazan Eid.

Jamia mohammadiya kokan Mhasla enrolls only intelligent and talented students aged below 11½ who have completed/ are completing their five-year primary education provided at formal schools and recognized local Madrasas.
Vocational education is a different learning option from the path of schools or universities. It offers a path that imparts the skills and knowledge needed to work in a given occupation. It is coordinated with the requirements of the labor market and is an integral part of the education system.
The Jamia mohammadia is trying to provide external programs and training courses for its students in order to raise their educational level. Such as computer courses , Abacus and vedic Maths , E Learning programmes etc .
The program’s mission is to prepare students in the provisions of Islamic jurisprudence and Shari’a, to achieve the values of their Muslim personality, to be included in the levels of self-awareness, adherence to the provisions of the true fundamentals, and to develop the student’s awareness and commitment abilities through his knowledge of the Shari’a values and rulings related to the Islamic judiciary.and then the Shari’a qualification of the student. With the behavioral and practical skills that help him to strive for the sake of Dawah and islamic awareness.
